A message to our AMP Lost & Found Festival family,
Due to recent advancements with regards to Covid-19, it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that AMP Lost & Found Festival can no longer take place in 2020.
The festival will now take place between Thursday April 29th – Sunday 2nd May 2021, across the Bank Holiday weekend.
Since first announcing our postponement we’ve been closely monitoring this unprecedented situation, which has sadly escalated beyond expectations. It is currently unclear as to when airlines will be operating as normal again, and when we will all be able to freely travel abroad.
With this in mind, a move to September is not a practical option. Also, for our loyal fans it wouldn’t be fair to encourage you to look at travel abroad for a time when it is not certain it will be possible. We are of course devastated that we can’t bring the festival to Malta this year and mark our 6th year on the island. However, the safety of our guests, the people of Malta, our artists and staff is our top priority.
We would like to thank everyone who opted to stick with us in September. Your support means the world to us, and we’re deeply sorry that we couldn’t make it happen as we thought.
Our guests now have two options:
For those that have already opted for a refund or chosen to attend in 2021, you don’t have to do anything else. Those that chose to move to the September date or haven’t yet responded, we’ll be in contact about your two options.
Ticket holders have the following options in relation to the festival ticket:
For those ticket holders that have already booked travel and/or accommodation, ticket holders will need to liaise directly with the booking agents and companies concerned but we are here to help with any enquiries where we can.
We appreciate that you will have questions, we have collated information from all of the common airlines and travel agents below for you to reference which we’ll be constantly updating below as they update their policies. We have a dedicated team of people who will be working around the clock in the coming weeks to help with your travel and accommodation queries. We want to make it as easy and smooth as possible for you, whatever you choose to do.
The events, travel and tourism industry are amongst the first and hardest hit with economic pressures arising as a result of the Coronavirus . We are in daily contact with the airlines, hotels, travel agents and tour operators connected with the festival and their policies for amending and cancelling bookings are changing daily. The industry is working together to be as accommodating as possible to travellers and holidaymakers at such a concerning time, and policies are becoming more consumer friendly day by day. The safety of travellers is always at the centre of these policies. All airlines, hotels, travel agents, tour operators and ticket agents are naturally experiencing a huge volume of queries, and as such we anticipate that it will take longer than usual (particularly for smaller businesses) to respond. We really appreciate your patience during this time and will do our utmost to assist you with alterations to your travel arrangements.
We would like to thank our amazing followers for being so patient and accommodating. To be unable to deliver this show on the date is really hard for us all to take, we are incredibly sad. Ultimately, the safety of our guests, staff and artists is our number one priority.
Travel and Accommodation:
If you have already booked your travel and/or accommodation and are choosing to attend the AMP Lost & Found 2021 edition, please:
If you wish to attend the AMP Lost & Found 2021 edition or if you wish to obtain a refund for your festival ticket, and do not wish to use your existing travel arrangements to visit Malta in May 2020, we recommend that you contact your travel agent, hotel and/or flight provider requesting either a refund, a change of booking for something suitable or credit note for alternative travel.
Airline cancellation policies are currently responding to demand and customer concerns resulting in increased flexibility day by day. It is however the prerogative of the airline whether they refund or not. Customers would need to enquire with the airline. Please bear in mind that it is not for certain that you will get an immediate reply, as they will still have a huge amount of requests to deal with. It is worth being patient with them at this time.
You can keep up to date with your airlines announcements and policies via the links below:
Hotels and Accommodation
Bookings made with your hotel/accommodation are subject to the hotel/accommodation’s individual terms and conditions. If the room booked is non-refundable then that room would not be subject to a refund (unless the hotel decides to grant a gesture of goodwill). It’s ultimately down to the decision of the hotel/accommodation if they issue a refund or not.
Please note there may be a cancellation charge if you are granted a refund from your accommodation provider.
If you booked your accommodation with Choice Holidays these will be cancelled (the 1GBP deposit would be withheld and any balance paid pertaining to the hotel would be refunded).
If you booked an airport transfer with cab companies or other providers, please contact them directly and cancel the booking – terms and conditions of the company booked with applies.
If you however booked with Choice Holidays these will be cancelled free of charge.
These will be cancelled free of charge.
In addition – for the next month Ticket Arena / Festicket will allow name changes if you need to transfer any of your tickets to another friend.
It is also possible to obtain £40 off an additional ticket for the 2021 edition as an alternative option to the 40 euros drinks credit.
Thanks again for your understanding and patience. We hope to see you all to Malta in 2021.
