Visit our travel partners Choice Holidays, who offer a range of hotels to suit all budgets. Choice Holidays have rooms across the island. We recommend staying in the areas of Bugibba or Qawra.
If you’re located elsewhere across the island and would like information about how to get to the festival site then we’d recommend using taxis to get there as public transport doesn’t run regularly to the area. Use Café del Mar as your point of reference, as all festival shuttles depart from here.
Camping is not available on site. However we have a range of accommodation including fantastic deals on apartments and hotels. Book through our official travel partner Choice Holidays.
Please speak with your hotel provider directly. Look our for our festival information pack which we’ll send out before the festival, we’ll provide an emergency contact number should you need to speak to anyone to help with any issues you may have in Malta.
Times for individual hotels/apartments vary, and can be found out by contacting Choice Holidays or your accommodation directly.
Most of the hotel rooms come with safety deposit boxes in the rooms although some do require a nominal fee for their use. More information is available on safety deposit boxes at individual hotels when booking.
Malta has great connections, with all major UK airports flying directly into Malta having up to 20 direct flights a day from the UK as well as many more indirect options travelling via mainland Europe – these can all be booked with our travel provider, Choice Holidays.
Malta has one airport, Malta International. Choice Holidays fly direct to the airport from across the UK and many mainland European destinations.
Festival shuttle buses depart from Café Del Mar and head directly to the pick up / drop off points at the festival site, before returning to Café del Mar.
Once you’ve purchased your Festival Shuttle ticket, you will need to collect your wristband when you arrive. Head to the wristband exchange stand at Café del Mar. We’ll send full information about where and when you can collect this in our information pack shortly before the festival. Your shuttle bus pass includes unlimited travel to and from the festival on the official shuttle passes.
Tickets are available to buy on Choice Holidays when you book flights and accommodation*. Shuttle passes will be available for individual purchase on the AMP Lost & Found website in the coming weeks.
*Shuttle bus price may vary subject to changes in exchange rates
Simply visit our travel provider Choice Holidays and enter the date you wish to book an airport transfer and your flight number. Please note that airport transfers are only available to those who have booked accommodation through Choice Holiday’s booking platform.
You would need to catch two buses, one to Valetta and then on to Qawra and Buggiba in St Paul’s Bay. We’d recommend using Choice Holiday’s airport transfer service.
You will be pre-advised by Choice Holidays who will leave you a “YOUR FLIGHT HOME” letter at your accommodation 48hrs before departure with the details and time of your pickup for your return journey home.
All of our airport transfers pick up from outside the arrivals terminal transporting you directly to your hotel. A representative holding a sign for Choice Holidays will be waiting for you to escort you to your transfer.
Transfers back to the airport pick you up from your hotel around 3 hours before your flight departs. Full details will be sent to you in advance of your travel.
Malta International Airport is located around 17km or a 35 minute drive from Qawra and Buggiba.
We require the flight numbers which correspond to your flights in and out of Malta.
Examples of flight numbers for various airlines:
Airmalta: KM103
Easyjet: EZY8823
Ryanair: FR3774
British Airways: BA2644

Vueling: VW8744

The festival shuttle bus is an unlimited shuttle bus service which runs from Café del Mar to the festival site and back every night.
Festival Shuttles depart from Café del Mar and head directly to the pick up / drop off points at the festival site, before returning to Café del Mar.
The shuttle runs on a continuous loop, we will be launching our AMP Lost & Found Info Pack soon.
Shuttle Operating Times:
Fri 4th May 2018 20:30 – 05:00
Sat 5th May 2018 20:30 – 05:00
Sun 6th May 2018 20:30 – 05:00
Festival shuttle passes are available here.
The festival shuttle is the easiest and cheapest way to get around the festival. The nighttime festival site is located a short drive from Café del Mar. Therefore you will need transport to get to the main festival site. Taxis will be available, but these are sometimes costly and are not as frequent. The shuttle service will save you time, money and hassle!
Keep your eyes peeled as we’ll be revealing the line-ups for our day parties nearer the time of the festival.
All pool parties are included in the festival ticket.
All pool parties take place at Café Del Mar – opening times, set times and full line-ups will be announced soon.
The average temperature on the island is 20 degrees in May, so should be perfect weather! We still advise you to bring a jacket for the night time.
There are a number of other towns across the island, however the festival shuttle service will only depart from Bugibba/St Paul’s – we would therefore recommend being as close to this part of the island as possible.
The festival is located about 11km from St Paul’s Bay, where we recommend staying for Lost & Found.
Malta is one hour ahead of the UK (GMT) – midday in Malta is 11am in the UK.
There are cash machines across the island of Malta where you can withdraw Euros as well as Bureaux de Change in some hotels.
The official Maltese currency is the Euro, which can be bought easily at the bank, the post office or at the airport.
The majority of network providers now offer calls, SMS and data roaming whilst visiting EU countries free of charge, this includes Malta. Be sure to double-check with your provider in terms of tariffs, especially when it comes to data. Take extra care of your usage and keep an eye on your allowances whilst on the island.
We’re working with hotel providers to ensure that WiFi is available in communal areas, but we cannot guarantee WiFi access in all accommodation.
